What I have been up to …

For the last couple of days, I’ve been busy doing ‘paperwork’ if you will.  I’ve spent a little more time on my Doula Bag, which I will update more on that in the next couple of days.  I completed a check list for my clients to review regarding their Birth Options and Preferences – from this check list, my clients and I should be able to come up with a good ‘Wish List’ for their ideal birthing experience.  Next up, I will be creating that ‘Wish List’ with my client.  I also completed my list of References to be able to provide to future clients.  I have also added some new pages, which you can see along the top and bottom of my site, titled The Birth Partner and The Doula and Local and Linked Resources.  The Birth Partner and The Doula is a great little read for any skeptical birth partners as to why a doula is beneficial and to help ease their minds about any fears they may have about being replaced by a doula.  And, the Local and Linked Resources will be continuously updated as my journey continues and I face new obstacles.  I imagine that as I come across good reads and links, I will be adding to that page.  I have been working on a couple of other new pages, one which will list My Services and another to share Testimonials from my clients.  I can’t wait to get all the pages out there, but there are only so many hours in a day.  And, finally, even though I said I was taking a break from studying, I have been very absorbed in my next book for my required readings.  I’m close to being finished with it and will update just as soon as I am able to.
